Kate and Mike's Hotel Monaco wedding in DC
Anyone who's planning a wedding knows how much anxiety can be wrapped around the weather. You can plan your special day to perfection, but unfortunately they have yet to create an app that will arrange the perfect forecast. Until then, I always tell my couples that if it looks like rain, plan to make it work in your favor. If you're willing to go out and make some unique photos with wet streets and cute umbrellas, I'm going out with you! Kate and Mike did just that. They went out and purchased coordinating umbrellas for themselves and their entire wedding party. Keeping everyone mostly dry, the umbrellas were a great and functional prop for some outdoor photos. In the end, rain or shine, nothing was going to "rain" on Kate and Mike's parade. Based on their smiles you would have thought it was perfect weather. Love.
