Brittland Manor Wedding: Lydia and Dave
I'm not particularly good at words, which is why I take pictures. Lydia and Dave are two of the sweetest, kindest, most fun people I've ever met. Their wedding party, family and friends were over-the-top kind to us and never once treated us as "the help," even going so far as to keep us hydrated and cared for through the entire event. You know when a bride and groom does the robot in the cornfields, you've found a pretty special couple. Even their wedding program title "So you're going to sit through a wedding" echoed their humor and lightheartedness. Underneath this humor, there is a deep love that Dave and Lydia share. Dave kept saying, "I can't believe I get to marry you!" Lydia's expression after being pronounced husband and wife tells the whole story too. You'll notice that the couple incorporated elements of the Malaysian wedding traditions in their ceremony. Brittland Manor is such a great place to have an intimate wedding, and such a stunning location. To Lydia and Dave, who were willing to do whatever we asked them to do, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reminding me how incredibly awesome it is to have the privilege to photograph and meet such wonderful couples.
