Amanda and Tim's DC wedding at the National Museum of Women in the Arts
Amanda and Tim had an amazing vision for their wedding. They wanted a fun and social atmosphere with small plates and food stations for dinner. I loved how this came together because guests were mobile to chit chat and explore the gorgeous museum space. They had cute lounge sections with huge cushions, chairs and couches topped off with the cutest detail ever...tiny pillows that Amanda's grandmother sewed herself. Even more than loving the atmosphere, I really loved how Amanda and Tim took the time to have a moment together. A few times I encountered them off on their own, chit chatting and observing their festivities. I felt like this was such a wonderful thing since this special day flies by in a flash, and it's important to take a moment to absorb and reflect. Amanda and Tim, you threw a great party for a fabulous couple. Congrats and thank you for choosing me to document your special day.
