New DC Wedding Venue District Winery to open this summer:
DC's new Wedding Venue, District Winery, boasts a stunning modern waterfront location with industrial ceilings, large windows and an ideal balcony for ceremonies. We couldn't be more excited about this new venue as there are endless possibilities for creative photos. Dark wood accents the exterior of the building, which is a perfect neutral color for plenty of portraits. Windows on all sides let in plenty of natural light, and stunning sunset views. Bonus: they make wine! Check out some recent photos we took while the building is still under construction, and a few renderings of the interior.
Capacity: 200 for a seated dinner, 350 standing reception both indoor and outdoor balcony.

For my bridal clients I am always looking to create a makeup look that is timeless, flawless, and natural. Every client is going to have their own preferences when it comes to their defining features, such as lip color, blush tones, or eye color shades – but one product that I love to use across the board, regardless of each bride’s personal styles is a Translucent Loose Setting Powder by Laura Mercier.
After finishing the overall makeup look, this powder brings the entire design together, creating a flawless finish and cosmetic continuity. With a velour puff I lightly apply the powder to the sides of cheeks, center of forehead, T-Zone, and the tip of chin and then gently blend around these features. Chef's Expressions is proud to be the official caterer forLe Dîner en Blanc's debut in Baltimore. Le Dîner en Blanc is an elegant large-scale picnic from Paris that takes place in a secret location, revealed on the day of the event. The exclusive event will take place on Sat. July 15th. Attendees will dress in all white and have the option to supply their own tables, white place settings and meals, or order a specially prepared dish from Chef's Expressions.
