District Winery Winter Wedding: Whitney + Christopher

Whitney and Christopher communicated in a thousand ways, to everyone, that they felt they were lucky to have each other. They looked profoundly grateful, and that's a feeling that's humbling to witness. I'd love to see their faces in 10 years, or 20, and see what gratitude looks like with more time on their faces.

It's also, perhaps, the most teary-eyed wedding I've witnessed in, well...ever. They let loose, and so their guests let the tears roll, and they cried some more. It's good for the soul. I wish more people cried more often at weddings. Sure, it makes good photos, but then love does, anyway.

Thank you, Whitney and Christopher, for inviting me to photograph your wedding.
