Yards Park DC Wedding: Howard and Victoria
I had the great honor to document Victoria & Howard's wedding at the beginning of the New Year. Victoria is an entrepreneur full of ideas who owns a chic ice cream shop called Ice Cream Jubilee right by the water at the Yards Park. I had been looking forward to their wedding since we first met last year and I was blown away to see her ideas implemented at their incredible winter wedding.
Victoria & Howard's wedding and reception were held at the boilermaker building, the former naval industrial building where boilers for Navy ships were once manufactured. It was one of a kind - an incredible transformation from once the industrial building to a beautiful evening soiree - from the setting and decorations, to the lighting and the lovely details. Their wedding was on a typical winter day in DC, but their contagious smiles warmed up everyone around them! We braved the weather for some great outdoor shots right before the ceremony. You probably wouldn't know by looking at these images that it was a cold, grey, winter day in DC as you can just feel the joy and excitement in the images and see what a wonderful day this was, not only for Victoria and Howard but also for everyone who was there.
I am very lucky to have had Elisha shoot with me along with two great assistants - Emily & Circle, who were on their last days of college winter break to come up to help.
Victoria + Howard, congratulations & we all wish you the best!
