Heather and Patrick’s Richmond Plantation Wedding
Heather and Patrick are James River people. They love to be on the water or near it with their big black lab, Bear. So when they were looking for a reception site, they simply looked across the river from Patrick’s mother’s home and saw the inviting lawn of Westover Plantation. They could have gone to Berkeley Plantation down the road, but it just didn’t have the same riverfront experience as Westover. Their wedding day was hot, but the breeze from the river and a well-timed evening thunderstorm (after the ceremony) kept the guests cool. Heather and Patrick (more Patrick than Heather, he was in charge of the music) hired one of their favorite bands to keep the guests foot-stomping- Jackass Flats. They are a Richmond regular on the cusp of being known regionally and someday nationally. Heather found me via her brother, Russ who married Jennifer about two years ago (HI JENNIFER!) Congrats Heather and Patrick on a great wedding and happy life!
