Sunrise Wedding Portrait Session in Washington, DC: Roshanak and Kaveh
I recently had the chance to photograph Roshanak and Kaveh in a fun, pre-wedding portrait session in Washington, DC. They were planning a courthouse wedding a few weeks later, but wanted to schedule a portrait session to capture them in their wedding day attire, without the stress of doing portraits on wedding day. We met just before sunrise and started our session at the Lincoln Memorial, to beat the crowds. From there, we headed to the DC War Memorial for a few photos with their sweet pup and a special Champagne toast. It was truly a luxurious way to start the day- a chance to create some fun wedding day portraits without having to rush to your wedding ceremony or wedding reception.
We think all couples should consider a pre or post wedding portrait session as an excuse to get all dressed up again in their wedding day finest and create some fun and unique portraits. It’s even a great idea for a one year anniversary portrait session!
